Nookie Bitesize - Great British Bake Off Chocolate Chip Cookies

Blue Peter is going all Junior Bake Off this week, and to celebrate (or rather avoid because I don't trust it anymore), I'm going to bring you a recipe from the Great British Bake Off website - chocolate chip cookies!

And if you miss Junior Bake Off airing on CBBC, check out this recipe for Whoopie Pies, which you can try at home:

Winnie The Pooh Veggie Sliders

If Rabbit were to set up his own healthy restaurant, these will be his substitute for burgers - veggie sliders in the shape of his good friend Winnie The Pooh! Follow Rabbit's healthy recipe here:

I.B.F.Fs: A Day In The Park

Join Luke, Resus, Cleo, Dig, Lulu and me for a nice day in the park, having a picnic, reading a story, blowing bubbles and, just really, seeing a squirrel cook an Acorn Pie in his kitchen in the old oak tree!

See where I got inspiration from:

Bluey & Bingo's Art Book

Throughout Bluey, you've spotted some drawings that Bluey and Bingo have done that are pasted all over the house, like a picture of a dog monster destroying a town, or a picture of their house, or pictures of memories from 'Favourite Thing' or 'Camping'. When they get older, they can compile their artwork into a big scrapbook, and now you can do it too, for recycling purposes!

Petrol Chocolate

Drawing Time

I'm all over art this morning, so I don't suppose you haven't heard of the Tiny Tukkins. If you haven't, then draw along with them!

Nookie Bitesize - Using Music As An Art Prompt

It's art time! Inspired by Disney's Fantasia, you too can use music as an art prompt. What you imagine using music can easily be drawn out on paper using paint, pencils and pens - like for instance Vivaldi's Four Seasons - Spring can make you imagine baby animals out in the Spring meadow, or A Night On Bald Mountain can make you envision a meteor destroying Aladar's island from Disney's Dinosaur. Whatever music suites your vision, make sure you think about what you're going to draw as you listen! Listen to the music down below:
And try the activity here:

Draw Your Own Mr Men Story

What if you were to draw the illustrations of every Mr Men book Roger or Adam Hargreaves wrote? For children, it might be sloppy and crudely done, but for some adults, mainly wannabe comic book artists, it's so professional you just want to stop and stare. This is why I've found this activity on the Mr Men website, so you can draw using pencils and pens to bring the Mr Men to life yourself whether young or old.

A Cat Watches TV

Doctor Memories

To reassure me during my blood pressure earlier today, the nurse told me of her memories of running down sand dunes on the beach and listening to the ticking of a stopwatch to be reassured when things don't go according to plan. This is the song I've been reminded of while I was talking with the doctor, named 'Rolling Down The Sand Dunes' by The Wiggles. I don't mind if anyone wants to see them!

I.B.F.Fs: You'll Get Used To It, Luke

Beware the Hairy Board Game Monster!

This story isn't finished yet, but it's worth completing next time.

Luke is nervous because it's family night and that means boring board games! This gives me an idea which I arrange with Mr. Watson, and the result is a surprise quest organized to save Prince Resus and me, the Star Princess, from the Hairy Board Game Monster...through a game of Land Of Confusion!

Find out where I got inspiration from:

Sixosaurus!

Guess who got hold of my picture of Six as a dinosaur?
SIX! I knew she'd stay in touch with me! Just like the Clangers did before, Six finally got in touch with me by holding my drawing - and I'm talking to someone who touched her wild pink hair! I'm going to make my thank you extra special.

Nookie Bitesize - Creamy Lemon Dip

Since it's another round of Step Up To The Plate on CBBC, I thought I'd introduce you to this variant of strawberries and cream, but with a zingy lemon twist. It's a creamy lemon dip, guaranteed to liven up any Wimbledon tennis match if your mother happens to be a famous tennis player!
