Nookie Bitesize - Tracy Beaker Cake

The time has come at last. Tracy Beaker is making her epic return to CBBC, in the new series My Mum Tracy Beaker! To celebrate, let's make a Tracy Beaker-themed cake to eat while watching the premiere tonight at 5:00PM!

Once you've done that, check out this video of this special Tracy Beaker themed cake decorating challenge from yesterday's memorable Blue Peter show.

The True CBBC Ident For My Mum Tracy Beaker

This CBBC ident I'm thinking of for My Mum Tracy Beaker would spoof one of the idents for BBC Two's 50th anniversary, except it would have photos of various CBBC shows and characters from 2002 up to now which spell out 'Welcome Home, Tracy Beaker' and this music playing...

...while Tracy, Vlad, Arthur, Buster, D.W and Zoltan dance in the style of the Mickey Mouse Clubhouse Hot Dog Dance. Wouldn't that be a good ident? That would be if they remade the ident into what I've described earlier for CBBC.

What's The Plan - 13.2.21 - 19.2.21

• 13.2.21-14.2.21 - My Mum Tracy Beaker

• 15.2.21 - Dog Loves Stars

• 16.2.21 - Dog Loves An Anthology

• 17.2.21 - Dog Loves Balancing

• 18.2.21 - Dog Loves Record Breakers

• 19.2.21 - Dog Loves Dinosaurs

Is it just me or do those dinosaurs look a lot like the adult Heffalumps that come to inspect either Eeyore or Rabbit's garden during the end credits of Pooh's Heffalump Movie?

The Blue Peter-Tracy Beaker Party

Learn how to combine both worlds with a Tracy Beaker/Blue Peter party!

2021 has proven to be an exciting year for Blue Peter - first Radzi returned, then there was a relaxed show celebrating Lunar New Year (Ni Hao!) and now, Blue Peter is celebrating everything Tracy Beaker! I bet Jacqueline Wilson is watching right now and thinking "Tracy's getting all the attention she deserves. She is my most popular character after all." Since Tracy is my favourite CBBC classic character besides Arthur and Young Dracula, celebrate Blue Peter and Tracy Beaker coming together with a fun party you can celebrate at home!

Find some fun birthday decorations which you can lay with various Tracy Beaker and Blue Peter imagery, then make some pink and blue party hats with the Blue Peter symbol or Tracy's image on them. For food, you could try Tracy's favourite foods, including a delicious Funfetti cake, or a Shelley-Bration cake, because Shelley was around when Tracy Beaker aired in reruns, and even when Tracy Beaker Returns premiered in 2010. There's also recipes for party food themed around Tracy's favourite foods, including Smarties cookies, Mars Bars brownies, popcorn, Spider Jellies (a substitute for Jelly Spiders since I can't find any recipes themed around the sweet), Cornettos, burgers, French fries and strawberry milkshakes. Pop on episodes of The Story Of Tracy Beaker on the iPlayer app and - Henry's your uncle - you've got a perfect Beaker-Peter party!

Watch the Blue Peter Tracy Beaker Takeover on iPlayer. This is the best Blue Peter show they've ever produced besides Radzi's return and their behind the scenes looks at Scream Street and Strange Hill High:

Countdown To My Mum Tracy Beaker - Tracy Beaker Superstar

Presenting...Tracy Beaker! As loyal and true a star as she is, this promo for her show from 2004 sees her being treated like a star, even getting a news interview. Next thing you know, she'll be in a limo enjoying sweets and listening to whatever music she fancies!

Nookie Bitesize - Nick Jr Make It & Bake It

Too much CBBC learning getting on your nerves? Don't worry, there's always someone else with free colouring and activity pages around here - Nick Jr! Its Make It & Bake It section will allow you to make awesome and exciting crafts using everything from around the house, with characters from shows like Paw Patrol, Butterbeans' Cafe and Nella The Princess Knight (it makes me think of The Lion Guard). Are you glad there's no Peppa Pig in this section? I am!

My Winter Wonderland

The music from The Foxy Christmas Story will play in my head every time I look back on this beautiful, blackened Winter wonderland.

Bitesize Is Not Airing Anymore! Here's How I'd React To It

Hooray! I'm 100% Tracy Beaker!

Taking this quiz on the CBBC website, I found that I am 100% Tracy Beaker, which means I have Tracy's blood running through my veins as I speak. Maybe Jacqueline Wilson took some of Tracy's blood while she was sleeping and injected it into my body the night after Tracy made her debut on CBBC. Who knows? She takes her characters' blood and brings it to us, much like an unexpected nightly blood donation. Find out how much Tracy blood you have running through your veins!

Countdown To My Mum Tracy Beaker - Tracy Beaker & Cave Girl

In this collection for CBBC continuity from 2003, there's a promo where Tracy Beaker faces off against Cave Girl, an old CBBC drama star that I've yet to find out more about. This was from when her TV series was still 'developing' until it became known as a cult classic in later years.

Love & Marriage According To Meena

Here to warm your hearts this Winter, it's UNiCEF's very own little Indian girl Meena and her parrot sidekick as they deal with love for a child and child marriage, and teach us how to prevent it. For good and always!

Nookie Bitesize - Superhero Activities

Now that One Zoo Three is over and done with, I'm going back to watching CBBC in afternoons and since Dr. Chris and Dr. Xand are dressing up as superheroes in this week's lab experiment, join in with them! First, design your own superhero costume:

Then find some fun superhero activities to prepare yourself for this week's lab experiment - that is, if your parents are squeamish enough to handle all the gory images!
