Me, You, And...Little Friends: Dragon Tunes

Remember those Dragon Tunes from the original Dragon Tales? What if they were brought back for a new generation? I've thought up Little Friends' first poem book, Dragon Tunes, which invites you to explore more of Dragon Land, including those not seen in the show.

I've yet to adapt Adventures In Dragon Land, Yes We Can, We Can Work It Out and It's Cool To Be Me into Little Friends stories, because the DVDs are sold on other market websites. The stories are fun as always too: in 'Zak Takes A Dive' Jetfire finds a bigger pool for him, Giganto and Humongo to play in near where the dragons are swimming in, while in 'A Tall Tale', Minty brings Rarity the unicorn to Dragon Land because, well, a unicorn features in the episode, and in 'The Greatest Show In Dragon Land', Minty desperately wants to go on an adventure, so she goes to Dragon Land to get her chance and head off to Wonderworld.

Sybil & Friends 30/1/20 Idea - Revenge On Adult Swim

In 'Sybil & Friends', after Fig and I think up some new ideas based on the Tumble Leaf episodes 'The Wheel Thing' and 'Twine Line', accompanied by new imaginative designs from Bix Pix, the company behind Tumble Leaf, Fig is curious to know why I'm into Adult Swim. Instantly, my friends get angry, with Resus stating that the whole Adult Swim thing is behind us, but I reassure my friends that Adult Swim is nothing more than a tale of betrayal and darkness, the most terrifying thing ever seen on US television. I tell them that a few years ago, before Moltar and Zorak died and left Space Ghost to fend for himself and save his friends from Cartoon Network from Adult Swim, it was fine from 2001 to 2003, and then it went completely dark, kicking Space Ghost off the throne. It leads to a segment shot on location in Grant Park Coffeehouse in Atlanta, with animation for Space Ghost, Zorak and Moltar done by Williams Street themselves in the style of the original Space Ghost Coast To Coast series and coffee break conversations. Taking place a few years back, the skit sees Space Ghost discussing with his two co-workers about how Adult Swim had ruined his life and his pride of place as king, and after a riotous argument that leaves Space Ghost in tears, Zorak reassures him that he won't have to fight off Adult Swim alone, and that he and Moltar have got his back. At once, Space Ghost cheers up and cries out that he'll visit Cartoon Network whenever he'll please, but as long as the two are with him, he'll rally who he loves and fight off Adult Swim once and for all! Different voice actors had to play Moltar and Zorak since their original voiceover actor, C. Martin Croker, died in 2016.

As the sequence ends, everyone agrees that they all don't like Adult Swim either, and Cleo remarks that if Scream Street aired on Adult Swim over in the USA, the show would be redubbed to include alcohol and drug references, including swearing. I refuse on that idea, and think CBBC would prefer Scream Street just the way it is. Furaha then suggests to me that, using my imagination, I could let her go to Atlanta using her flight power and blow up Williams' Street to seek revenge. What follows is another sequence shot on location in Atlanta, this time with Furaha flying over Williams' Street before swearing revenge, throwing a hand grenade into the building. She then lands by Adult Swim's 10th anniversary mural and says in a deep, demonic male voice; "Destruction." We then zoom out to reveal Furaha walking away from the building in slow-motion, as Williams' Street explodes behind her. Taramba's 'Udu Tu Yutu' plays in the background. We then see all the staff of Williams' Street in the aftermath of the explosion, covered in bruises lying in the destruction of the building.

It then fades into the Forge, where we see Tom clapping sarcastically over seeing the footage on one of the screens. All of this is animated in the same CGi used for Toonami's host segments. Sara, his holographic assistant, asks if he feels homesick, and Tom replies that he is missing Cartoon Network's Toonami a lot, and because of Adult Swim, he's been suffering sleep paralysis in the daytime, but luckily he can confront it by yelling "Boo!" at it. Sara laughs it off, but Tom feels he still misses his friends from the real Toonami, when he was king of the Cartoon Network one. Now he's become a new king of a new Toonami, and it isn't the same without any of his kid-friendly anime friends. Sara suggests that he might watch clips of the "Toonami that once was" to pass the time whilst he waits for the Saturday coming. Tom thinks it's a good idea, and gets to work on watching clips from CN's Toonami, which delights both him and Sara.

Before all that and more, during bedtime, I become scared of the dark so Furaha sings the cat's song from 'The Magic Faraway Tree' to put me to sleep. She sings:
"Once my whiskers grew so long, I had to have a shave
The barber said it's not the way for whiskers to behave
If you're not careful my dear cat, they'll grow into a beard
And then a billy goat you'll be, or something very weird

Once my tail became so short, it hadn't got a wag
The baker said-"

And then Furaha instantly falls asleep, leaving me to snuggle down with my friends.

Sybil & Friends

I've decided that, once my interesting year avoiding screaming kids and barking dogs and whatnot and trying to cash in on my success of Festive Pyjamas, I would make a film about my adventures and imagination in the early stages of adulthood, which can't stop me from hanging with my friends and doing the things I like and want to do. The film mixes different animation styles with live-action, music, storytelling, imagination, familiar characters and valuable lessons about transition and being unstoppable against a storyteller's mind.

Me, You, And Pokemon Indigo League

Set during the events of the Pokemon series that started it all.

Furaha recounts the time she, her parents and her aunt Mti and cousin Angalia went sailing out on a small fishing boat onto the seas of Africa, but sail too far and find themselves sucked into the Bermuda Triangle, into the world of Pokemon. There, they meet Ash Ketchum and Pikachu for the first time and go on a quest to help Ash take his first steps in catching 'em all.

The Sound Of The Spiritual Feel Of Me, You, And....

If Me, You, And....was a movie and had a score, this is what it'd sound like. I've been wanting to share this for a long time, and it sounds so enchanting and worldly that it brings out the Me, You, And...and the shows each story is set in to us. Imagine this: Furaha playing in a meadow and climbing a mountain whilst the wise jackal Elimu and Furaha's mother Ua play a spiritual flute in tune. Me, You, And...celebrates not only child rights and friendship, but also nature and how we care and respect it.

Mildred The Jet Engine

Starring the incredible two, Mildred and Luella!

One day, as everyone was preparing for the filming of the Worst Witch, Mildred and Luella saw one of the producers hiding a mechanical something in the bristles of Mildred's broomstick. "What's that?" asked Mildred. Luella looked closer, and saw that it was a medium-sized jet engine. There were more of them being installed in all the broomsticks for the filming of the new series of the Worst Witch. "Rockets, I presume," Luella responded to her friend. "No," laughed Mildred, "I once saw one of those. They're called jet engines. The crew are placing them into our brooms to allow us to fly faster." She began to feel a little sneaky. "If I can climb onto my broomstick and take it for a test run, maybe I can prove that I'm the fast witch and not The Worst Witch." "Oh!" cried Luella, "Before you go - let me come with you." "Always happy to help," smiled Mildred, patting Luella on the back.

"Which one is my broomstick?" asked Mildred to the director. "That one over there," responded the director, pointing to the one near the director's chair. "Thanks!" called Mildred and raced over to her broomstick, climbing slowly on. Luella sneaked up behind Mildred and pulled the switch, which started the jet engine, and the engine began to whine. The whine got louder and louder. "Uh-oh!" cried Mildred.

Before she could say anything else, the broomstick was rocketing Mildred into the sky and away from Cackles' Academy. "OOOOOOOOOOOHHH!!" screamed Mildred. Luella was hanging on behind her upside down, but Mildred couldn't stop! "OOOOOOOH BOY!" Miss Hardbroom called ahead. "Action Stations! Mildred's shooting away on a rocket-powered broom!" The students at Cackles' raced off on their broomsticks to follow Mildred. She had never been so excited! She flew by Maud, and rocketed past Enid, and raced by Ethel! They were amazed!

Ant was excited when he saw Mildred flying across the sky. "Hey! Want a race, Mildred?" he called.
"Never mind."
No one had ever seen Mildred go so fast!

Ethel was catching up to Mildred fast, but just as she was about to reach the broom, it blasted off, leaving a sonic boom right in her face! "Hi Ethel Bye Ethel!" shrieked Mildred. "You'll PAY!" screamed Ethel, shaking her fist in anger. "Okay, it's time to stop," laughed Luella nervously, trying to reach for the switch. She nearly didn't reach, but that didn't stop her, as she reached further and further, almost managing to fall off and loose her grip, before finally reaching into the bristles and switching off the jet engine.

Mildred was back under her own power, but she, Luella and the broom fell down from the sky into the forest below, and ended up tangled in a thorn bush. Thorns covered them from head to foot as they emerged, and all the students landed to see their clothes torn and their faces all red from exhaustion. The broomstick had been snapped in half. "Sorry for overtaking you," teased Mildred to Maud and Enid. "Overtake me? I didn't notice." said Enid. "You're the fastest witch in Cackles?" asked Maud. "Yes, I am the fastest," laughed Mildred. As Mildred and Luella shared a hearty laugh, Ethel came up to them. She felt sorry for herself. "It's okay," said Mildred, "Ethel doesn't have to go as fast as a jet engine, she's a witch." "But she's still full of hot air!" called out Luella, and everyone made their way back to Cackles' academy, with Mildred and Luella holding each end of the broken broomstick together.

I.B.F.Fs: Reflections

My first I.B.F.Fs story idea in a week!

The I.B.F.Fs and I love looking at our reflections in the mirror, curious by what we look like, and when the rain stops, we go outside and look at our reflections in the puddles.

Me, You, And...Little Friends: Easy As 1, 2, 3

I've decided to use this DVD to do this Little Friends title, which is of course named Easy As 1, 2, 3. New visitors Orko and Scattershot will visit Dragon Land to meet Max, Emmy, Zak, Wheezie, Cassie, Ord and the Little Friends' dragon friends and maybe learn something from their experience in this beautiful place.

All That WITH SEGMENT TITLE CARDS!

Wouldn't it be nice if all sketch shows had related title cards themed to the tone of each sketch? That would definitely go to sketch shows like So Random and annoying ones like Diddy TV-that would be perfect, because if all sketch shows taught English and how to speak as well, title cards would add to the premise of each sketch. Take Nickelodeon's latest revival of their show All That. The title cards would be similar in tone to those featured on the 'Learn English With Noddy' programmes that were launched in Asian countries. For tonight's episode, I'm going to list down the title cards that would appear before each sketch, in BIG yellow letters against a black chalkboard background, surrounded by yellow marks around the title and a picture drawn in chalk down below.

On the night of the Buggy Ball, Pupcake has his nose in his food, whilst Custard dances gracefully around Strawberry Shortcake's cafe.

23rd January

The museum in Helmsdale contained all my lovely stories, including an early story about Haraka the cheetah cub.

24th January

I thought up the story 'The Bell Spell', a Me, You, And...lullaby book which brings Sly's bell spell to a new generation.

25th January

I'm trying to make peace between CBBC and my peaceful, playful Me, You, And...stories. Does peace matter?

26th January

Back then, Noddy was too silly trying to catch the moon. In a new Me, You, And...story, Furaha's trying hard to stop the moon crashing into earth!

Me, You, And...'s I Want To See The Moon

Based on Lebo M's song 'I Want To See The Moon' and inspired by 'Noddy & The Magic Night'.

Furaha fears the moon might crash into the earth after seeing the moon's guardian, the White Jackal, cry. That night, she uses her powers to "help" the moon stay up in the sky, but her brothers and sisters try to stop her. The next night, silly Furaha is lead by her parents back into the forest towards the moonlit pool, where they explain that the moon won't harm the earth in any way, and that, through our reflections, we are one family living under one big, changing sky.

I just found this remix of the French-African film Kirikou Et La Sorciere on Youtube, and I found out its African feel is great for thinking about Me, You, And..., because the main characters come from Africa.
