Recapping My Diary

It's been decided: every Sunday, I'll recap my diary entries for this week straight out of it, accompanied by pictures, alongside a picture of my diary every week. I think I made a good choice getting that Winnie The Pooh diary for Christmas last year, as I get to write down what's occurring in each story, and the new ideas that halted what I'm going to do each day, like (spoilers) yesterday when stories related to Me, You, And Transformers: Cybertron's Guess How Much I Love You-War Of The Worlds style. I should've done it in the last few weeks, but whatever. This week, I think this month the pages are accompanied by a picture of Pooh whispering a secret into Eeyore the gloomy donkey's ear.

Worried That CBBC Might Be Causing Epileptic Fits?

I'm extremely worried about CBBC's impact on viewers with epilepsy. You see, CBBC has too much flashing images in their programmes and fast transitions. One of the skits in Diddy TV had flashing images, and I'm worried because all the other CBBC shows, including Scream Street, might incorporate quick, bright, alternating flashes in each of their shows every few seconds, just like in the banned Pokemon episode, 'Electric Soldier Porygon'. If CBBC did an event called 'Can You Make It Through The Week?' it would warn viewers to steer clear away from CBBC due to flashing images all week, because every second throughout the programmes aired, the screen will be brought up by quick flashes of red and blue, like in said Pokemon episode. This flashing might cause an estimated 685 British children to be hospitalized after suffering epileptic seizures - two of which will remain hospitalized for up to two weeks.

It's not just CBBC that's the case - a few years ago, CiTV's former programming block Action Stations had a warning that aired before episodes of Transformers and Yu-Gi-Oh about flashing images, in the case of epileptic viewers. So why can't they have a warning for epileptic viewers before each programme telling them about the flashing images featured in this programme? CBBC, if you're reading this, you've been warned about how you treat your viewers. Some might have epileptic seizures by now, so what if there was a disability-friendly version of CBBC for people who have autism or dyslexia or maybe even epilepsy? It would be great, but then the CBBC logo would be either purple or multiple colours.

Noddy USA Video - Noddy Loses His Bell

I only put it on there because you British people need to understand the difference between USA and UK Noddy, one particular difference found in the USA version of 'Noddy & The Missing Hats' for example, named over in America 'Noddy Listens & Learns'. The narrator, who sounds a lot younger in the USA, tells us that Noddy came round to Big Ears' house to have 'hot cocoa with marshmallows and chocolate cookies' instead of 'a delicious tea'. Watch, you'll know what I mean.

Three New Me, You, And...Works - 21/1/20

• Me, You, And...The Adventures Of The Guardians Of Cybertron - Set during the classic Transformers series, these stories follow the adventures of the fantasy counterparts of Furaha, her siblings and their Autobot friends.

• The Happiest Day: A Me, You, And Transformers: Cybertron Story - An edited version of a chapter of Me, You, And Transformers: Cybertron, named 'Allie Gets Kidnapped'. Basically, this and the original book is like Guess How Much I Love You meets the original Transformers brand itself, with Furaha and Jetfire relaxing atop a hill, Haraka and Overhaul bonding under the water and Upendi asking Scattershot why he stays behind in the Autobot base all the time.

• Me, You, And...Do I Look As If I'm Feeling All Brown? - A Me, You, And...story showing racism from the viewpoint of Furaha's siblings Upendi and Allie.

Me, You, And Pokemon: The Johto Journeys

I'm sure you've heard of the new Pokemon movie 'Coco' which features a Tarzan-like character and Ash and Pikachu in the jungle. Well, inspired by this I've decided to do a story set during the events of one of the classic Pokemon series, 'The Johto Journeys'.

In it, after being dropped into the Bermuda Triangle following an accident, young cub Daji (meaning 'Hunter' in Swahili) is raised by a family of mixed Pokemon in the jungles and forests of Johto. She's been playing and learning to hunt from Pokemon from many years now, until one of their own wanders out of the forest. Daji follows him, and soon encounters Ash, Pikachu and the gang! Her Pokemon family follow behind, and soon Daji might be adjusting to the ways of lion life again...

Little Friends - Max & Ruby-Themed Stories

Max & Ruby are in the Little Friends mix too - in each story, two of the Little Friends visit Max and Ruby's house to help Max and Ruby. One sees to Max's actions, while the other helps out Ruby. A young Frax will be introduced in 'Movie Night', where he as a young robot appears before Max's eyes as he helps Max (Frax is astonished that his and his new friend's name rhyme) sneak some popcorn, while Cheer Bear helps prepare the movie night.

Little Friends - Harry & His Bucketful Of Dinosaurs-Themed Stories

At last, I've finally decided to make a series of Little Friends stories based on the old Milkshake show Harry & His Bucketful Of Dinosaurs. Similar to the Dragon Tales adventures, where you find a dragon scale pop up in significant places, a bucket containing a piece of paper telling you what to do to get to Dino World and a golden key appears whenever you have a problem. To jump into the bucket and head to Dino World, all the Little Friends have to do is recite a rhyme based around what they would like to go in Dino World, and once the bucket begins to glow, the friends wear the key round their necks and jump into Dino World! There, they encounter Dino World companions which are just as similar to the ones in Dragon Land, except they're not dragons, they're various random creatures. At the end of each adventure, the key glows to lead the Little Friends back home, leading to this phrase:
"The key's glowing,
We're going!"
Harry and his dinosaur friends appear throughout each story, and in one story I'm thinking about putting a lost Cassie, Ord, Zak and Wheezie into Dino World, and one of the Little Friends tries to help them get back to Dragon Land.
