Four Spooktacular Things That Cheered Me Up After My Bad Trip Out Yesterday

1.Scream Street - Lovestruck. It was so nice to see Luella again, and making that blog entry about her reuniting with Mildred was an excellent choice. After a break of six months, I guess last night was the night when the witches fly over Golspie - a Halloween themed night! It was also nice to hear the narrator in Danger Mouse say, "London. City of shining architectural wonders - the gherkin! The tennis racket! And the house of cards! But what's that familiar sound? Could it be? And now, the world's twelfth greatest sidekick Penfold, will speak the first beautifully constructed line of the new series!" Something the whole world heard back in September 2015 when Danger Mouse made a triumphant return to British television.
2.Scooby Doo & The Witch's Ghost. This was released the year before I was born (1999), and the animation is well, with cosy colours and dark background pallets. There are some hilarious moments, too, such as when Scooby and Shaggy are confronting the giant turkey and they dress up as pilgrims to cook and eat the turkey for Thanksgiving dinner. 'Cause, you know, Shaggy and Scooby love eating turkey for Thanksgiving, 'cause it's an American tradition that may be Scooby and Shaggy's favourite time of year, alongside Halloween and Easter.
3.Halloweentown. I watched it on Disney+ last night, and it proved to be the best Disney Channel original film ever beside the 2018 version of Freaky Friday (I thought it to be a Disney Channel event, but it was a film all along), Teen Beach Movie, Kim Possible and Good Luck Charlie: The Road Trip Movie. It reminded me so much of Scream Street, and my favourite part was pointing out all the monsters in the background, such as fairies, gremlins, the yeti who runs the ice cream shop, the postman and the policeman, plus the creepy Illuminati symbol on the taxi. I can't imagine the time and effort they put into making this TV film, which was released one year before Scooby Doo & The Witch's Ghost was released. In fact, it's like Disney Channel's very own Scream Street. I wonder if Tommy Donbavand, the writer of Scream Street, saw this film and thought, "Hey, this film could be one of my inspirations for my book series about the adventures of Luke and his friends, besides my thoughts of living in a haunted house." Halloweentown aired in the UK too, you know, I saw this on Disney Channel one Halloween, GET OVER IT, SCREAM STREET FANS!

And finally, the main course (great pun, I said it just in time!)...
To cheer me up after my little blip, Mum ordered an ASDA order, and the reason I put this picture of Brambly Hedge up is because the essential part of this series isn't the beautiful music, dresses, backgrounds and everything, but because of the food they eat! That's why my order, with sausage rolls, pork cocktail sausages and anything that comes to your mind when you watch Brambly Hedge or play the Mr. Men PC CD Rom game Mr. Nosey's Surprise Picnic, comes to your mind. Watch out, here I come!
