This morning I read Diary Of A Wimpy Kid: The Getaway, and I have to say it is a pretty good read. Like Dork Diaries, I read it in less than three hours until 9 O'Clock. There are a lot of great moments in the book, like Greg trying out the outdoor shower's 'Rainfall' mode.
My favourite illustrations are ones which showed the 'Greg Heffley Bathrobe Fighting Squad' consisting of references to Star Wars, Lord Of The Rings and what might possibly be Scooby Doo & The Samurai Sword.......and an illustration which showed that humans eat fish, eggs, lobsters, hens, cows, fruit and vegetables, but on Isla De Corales, it's the food pyramid in reverse. Hey, I'm writing in a Wimpy Kid property right now!
I really love this food pyramid because it's all true and it's a great way of showing children how to eat healthily. Thank you for posting.
