The Meeting Agenda: Part #1

Oh, dear readers, today has been one of those days. You know the kind — the kind where even the thought of a meeting agenda feels like it requires Herculean effort. Today, we had a rather long agenda planned, but first, let me digress into something far more relaxing and enjoyable: Talking Pictures TV.

For those of you not in the know, Talking Pictures TV is this wonderful UK TV channel that specializes in broadcasting films and shows from yesteryear. There's a charm to it, a slow-paced tranquility that feels like a warm blanket on a cold day. The films and shows on Talking Pictures TV are the epitome of chill. They just amble along, and there's something beautifully soothing about it. No rush, no frantic pace, just a leisurely stroll through classic cinema.

With work commitments weighing heavily on me, I've had to remind myself to take things easy. Yes, work commitments. I could blame the stress and pressure of it all, but really, who am I kidding? It's the weekend, and I must find the time to relax. To unwind. To breathe. And what better way to do that than with the Saturday Morning Picture Strand on Talking Pictures TV? It’s like being a kid again, minus the sugar high and hyperactive energy. Pure nostalgia in a perfectly calm package.

Speaking of taking it easy, I have to mention Wysteria. You might think Wysteria's help is only for when you're buried in work commitments, but it's actually a godsend at any time. Their assistance is like having an extra pair of hands when you need them most, helping to untangle the chaos of daily life, whether you're drowning in spreadsheets or just trying to keep your sanity intact.

Now, onto a slightly more chaotic note: my dog, Mylo. Today, Mylo decided that my meeting list looked like the perfect chew toy. Yes, dear readers, he took my meticulously planned agenda and shredded it with glee. I watched in slow-motion horror as my plans for the day were turned into confetti. There went my notes, my carefully outlined points, and my semblance of order.

In memory of my dearly departed meeting lists, I present this spoof memorial:

---

### In Memoriam: The Meeting Lists

Here lies the remains of my meeting lists,
Torn to shreds by a dog who insists,
That paper is meant to be chewed and destroyed,
Not to keep meetings perfectly buoyed.

From bullet points to action plans, all gone,
Now, where did I put my cup of calming chamomile...?

They served their purpose, organized my day,
But now in pieces, they've gone away.
Gone but not forgotten, in dog’s belly they rest,
Ripped to bits by Mylo, who thought he knew best.

Rest in pieces, meeting lists. Rest in pieces.

---

And with that, I leave you, dear readers, to ponder the unpredictability of life, the joy of classic TV, and the undeniable truth that sometimes, the best-laid plans are no match for an enthusiastic dog.
