The family hosts a barbecue outside in the garden on a hot day. While the adults laugh, chat and cook away at the barbecue, us kids play outside in the garden and cool off in the sprinkler. But the next-door neighbours want to join in too, including Dixon who desperately wants to join in the sprinkler game.
On my birthday, I recieve a glow-in-the-dark bat jack in the box, which gives me an idea: set up a fort! Later, in the pillow fort, my siblings and I discuss our getaways, inspired by Bluey's dream of being a fruit bat, such as the African plain, the Brazilian rainforest, the Blue Lagoon in Iceland and a huge milk bath.
Bandit and Uncle Stripe are left in charge of us when the other adults go out. Luella tries casting a spell, but it goes wrong and turns the two dads into rainbow unicorns. At first, we have fun training our unicorns, but before the other adults get back we must change the unicorns back into dads again.
My siblings and I decide to spend a lazy morning in bed while the other little kids are playing with Bandit and the other parents. Luke and I share a bath together realizing how Chilli shares a bath with Bluey and Bingo sometimes as do some of the younger members of the family, then I play a family game of hide and seek with everyone.
My siblings and I roll down a steep hill. It then skips forward to a few minutes later, where I explore the park on my own and see a frog make its way into the creek. Racing deeper into the forest, I encounter Raoul again when he is practicing hunting, using the frog itself as a target. We follow the frog to the pond before making our way back to the park.
