To let The 'Hood appeal more to everyone, I'm adding some new characters into The 'Hood, starting with the Christmas episode, 'Give Them What They Want' - Izzy's cousins Gabi, William, Ryan, Amy and Josh. Gabi has autism, while William has down syndrome, and The 'Hood's Christmas episode will be about dealing with family members who have a mental illness. In the episode, Izzy goes with her mum, Uncle Stripe, Aunt Trixie, Muffin and Socks to her cousins and Aunt Melanie's house during a book drive for charity. There, Izzy plays with Muffin, Socks and her cousins and, with Aunt Melanie and Uncle Stripe's help, learns that two of her cousins need special care because of their disabilities, and that spending time with them helps make their Christmas extra special. For new episodes of The 'Hood I'm doing through the end of this month to November, I'm going to add the cousins into an episode of the same subject, except that we'll see Izzy, Muffin and Socks having a sleepover with the cousins and their babysitter, Gabi and William's support workers Tee and George. When I do the Christmas episode of The 'Hood and that later episode, you'll know that, like in PBS Kids shows like Clifford, Arthur and Dragon Tales, disabled people can feature in kids' shows too!
Those new characters sound really interesting, I'm glad you are still including the extremely cute Muffin.
