I Announce The Huge Bluey News To My Friends

In my cosy little Australian house...

ME: Right, everyone, I've called you all here today because I have some exciting news.
ZECORA: Is My Little Pony returning to TV?
If it is, then it'll be stardom for me.
ME: Not that. What I meant to say was, on April 9th this year, Bluey is returning to Aussie TV screens with NEW EPISODES!
(Everyone gasps and cheers in excitement)
ME: It's evident that I got that message the moment I saw that clip of Bluey and Bingo with their mum in the lift. Can you imagine the amount of stuff she's carrying at the moment?
LUKE: It's huge!
BINGO: Wait. Did you...catch our mum packing?
ME: Of course I did. Take a look!
(I hold up photos of Mum packing her bags for the holiday. Everyone gasps in shock)
ZECORA: I I hadn't been thoroughly told,
Her umbrella's coloured solid gold.
BEEP: You unbelievable little idiot, trying to look around for a simple explanation as to why Mum is packing.
BLUEY: Don't tell her she's...
ME: (laughs) She's not splitting up with your dad, don't worry.
(Bluey & Bingo sigh in relief)
MORT: Excuse me, Sybil?
ME: Yes, Mort?
MORT: I'm so glad you mentioned new episodes of Bluey are airing in Australia. Those compilations on Sky Kids are just endless. What Beep, Bluey, Bingo and I really want is...to go home.
ME: You are home.
(Thunder flashes outside. Everyone switches off the lights and scrambles under the covers as it begins to rain heavily)
ME: Come out, everyone, it's only thunder!
CLEO: Wow, what a wild night.
MORT: Can you believe I'm home in Australia where I truly belong?
ME: Yep, I sure do.
(I get into bed and snuggle with my friends, dreaming of Season 3C of Bluey)

Our Christmas Swim

Did you know?
In the southern hemisphere, Christmas comes in the Summer.
It was Christmas during Summer in Australia in December (lucky Aussies) and Luke, Resus, Cleo, my cousin Six and I were outside enjoying the Summer weather. I thought it was such a shame that Australians don't celebrate Christmas in Winter, but Six reassured me that Australia is a Southern hemisphere country, which means Christmas is celebrated in Summer. Once I realised, I ran into the pool with my new Pluto floatie I got for Christmas.

In Australia, it can be really hot sometimes, especially during the Christmas holidays, so our parents applied some suncream zinc onto our faces and arms. The zinc was coloured green and yellow, and we were painted with stripes along our faces, arms and legs. I even put little yellow spots onto my toes, so I looked like an Aboriginal person. Our unicorn and dragon floaties were all ready. I started to relax on my unicorn floatie, but I didn't notice Luke, Resus, Cleo and Six creeping up behind me. I turned over, but suddenly my monster siblings and cousin tipped me over into the water. My eyes were stinging and water was right up my nose. Luckily, Aunt F gave me my favourite green goggles so my eyes won't sting again. Luke, Resus, Cleo and Six were already wearing goggles, so I started to play a cheeky game of 'Tickle Crocodile', which involved swimming under the pool water and tickling the legs of my siblings and cousin.

"Okay, you ready to play catch?" asked Mr Watson, to which we all cheered. Six, Cleo, Luke and Resus each had a turn at catching the beach ball and landing head first into the water of the pool, to which we were greeted by cheers and applause from our family. When my turn came I tried to catch the ball, but I wasn't very quick enough and landed with a thud onto the ground, hitting my head on the hard surface of the side of the pool. "OUCH!" I wailed, and started to cry. Luckily, Aunt F took me inside and wrapped bandages around my head. "There. I think this game is far too dangerous for you. Only big kids can play that game, not you." "Then what can I play instead?" I asked. "I know what you can play." said Aunt F.

Later, I was in the pool with my friends playing Catch with our beach ball. It was great fun, and Luke, Resus and Cleo promised never to be too rough on me again. When we had Christmas dinner of meat pie, roast ham, mash and gravy, vegetables and pavlova, I felt grateful that I had such a loving family to spend the holidays with in the best country ever -  Australia. "Isn't it lovely?" I asked, "All of us gathered for a wonderful meal? I think this is my favourite part of Christmas. Don't you think?" I turned to my siblings and cousin.

"Even when your head gets bandaged up!" And we all laughed and laughed and laughed, until we were too weak to laugh anymore.

The Black Hills

Once in the Highlands of Scotland, there was a forest that was full of colour and happiness. The animals who lived there were kind and carefree, living their lives to the full. However, one terrible day, man came and chopped down all the trees. Some men killed the animals living there, and some even built houses where trees used to be. Over time, the hills surrounding the forest turned dark and lifeless. The wise bird of the forest, Elder Owl, foretold a prophecy that one deer will meet up with another deer from the neighbouring forest. Should they form a strong bond, they will be forever united, and colour and trees would be restored to the forest.

In the Black Hills lived Grey Hill, a dark-furred stag whose world was always dull. There were no trees to eat leaves from, no bushes, no flowers and no water flowing in the rivers. He always obeyed the rules and stayed close to the dull, grey creatures of the land. However, in the neighbouring forest lived a beautiful orange-furred doe called Kena. She filled her life with sunshine and smiles and loved to fill her heart with the scent of flowers and some fun games with her friends, a skunk and a squirrel. It was a lot more fun than what was in the Black Hills.

One day, Grey Hill decided to explore the forest near the Black Hills. However, as he wandered through this bright and colourful forest, everything turned black and grey behind him. The leaves disappeared from the trees and the flowers wilted. However, upon meeting Kena, Grey Hill was really nervous. He tried hard to say hello, but Kena interrupted with a promise that they can restore what has been left of her forest together, rather than crying about it. So they set off back to the Black Hills side by side, and as they did, life began to restore the forest back to its original state. As they approached the Black Hills, grass began to grow once again. Flowers appeared, water began to flow in the river and bursts of light from the sun filled the air where dark clouds once used to cover the sky. The two locked eyes on one another, and then kissed suddenly. That kiss caused a giant love heart to form outside of them, and then it burst, spraying rain all over the valley. Trees began to grow almightily all around them, and then, a miracle happened: animals returned to what was once known as the Black Hills immediately.

Grey Hill and Kena married, and sunshine and happiness returned to the Black Hills, marking the start of a new era for one of the Highlands' most dreariest places. And the two deer, as you can guess, lived happily ever after.

Bluey/Qoo - Stumpfest/Tradies/Trampoline

Stumpfest:
Bluey and Muffin apply make up to Lucky's dad.

Tradies:
Chippy is brushing his teeth when Cherry helps him do it in a rather cheeky way.

Trampoline:
Bluey bounces in and out of frame, but it's revealed that Bandit is throwing her high into the air and catching her when she falls back down.

Pinkie Pie & Little Cheese Go Christmas Shopping

Did you know?
The average person spends 19 hours Christmas shopping every year.
One day, Pinkie Pie and her daughter Little Cheese went into Manehatten to do some Christmas shopping. Little Cheese had a long list. She wanted a princess playset, a tiara, a ride on lion, some My Little Pony toys (not ones from G4, ones from G1 and G2 and G3), some G.I. Joe figures for her brother Ego Cheese - some Star Wars ones too - and lots of others. Pinkie Pie knew it was a long list, but they decided to go to the place where everypony goes to do their shopping every Christmas - List-O-Rama. Here, you could get anything that was on your list. First, Pinkie Pie brought Little Cheese everything she wanted this year while she played in the sot play section and the colourful ball pit. By that time, Little Cheese was waiting all this time for Pinkie Pie, and do you know how long it took?

That's right, 19 hours. Once the 19th hour began, Little Cheese began looking all around the aisles for her mum. Pinkie Pie looked all around for her daughter too. Then, in the distance, unbeknownst to Pinkie, Little Cheese saw someone that could take all her worries away. It was Santa! Santa told Little Cheese that despite the amount of things he could give her for Christmas this year, the best gift was the gift of family. Santa merged with Little Cheese by placing his hoof onto her's, and Little Cheese became a glowing yellow ball which came zooming back to her mum.

Meanwhile, Pinkie was frantically calling her husband Cheese Sandwich on her mobile phone, asking where Little Cheese is. Cheese told her not to worry, as she's probably playing with the other little fillies at Manehatten Central Park. Suddenly, Pinkie heard someone cry out "MUMMY!" and a yellow ball of light came flying towards her. With a POOF, the ball of light transformed into Little Cheese! Pinkie was so delighted and brought to tears by this event that she hugged her as if she could never let her go. Santa nodded his head, then disappeared in a wisp of snow. "Look, it's Father Christmas!" cried Little Cheese. "So it is," realised Pinkie Pie.

Pinkie was so happy to be reunited with Little Cheese, that she decided to have tea in the Manehatten Sweet Stuff Tea Room. They had tea sandwiches - cucumber for Pinkie and cheese for Little Cheese - chocolate cupcakes and steaming mugs of hot cocoa. It was the most delicious feast ever, and when they got home, Cheese Sandwich and his son Ego Cheese helped the rest of the Pie family to decorate the house and place all of Little and Ego Cheese's presents under the tree.

And by the time Christmas Day came, the whole family was filled with excitement as the Pies unwrapped their presents to see the toys they had been looking for. Although Pinkie shopped for 19 hours, it was good, because all her Christmas energy gave her enough time to relax and sit down with a good mince pie and a glass of Vimto (that's her favourite drink). "You know, Pinkie," said Cheese, "When it comes to Christmas shopping, you're a mum in a million." "Yay!" cheered Little and Ego Cheese. Cheese Sandwich was right - Pinkie Pie was the best mum EVER!

A Night With Our Pony Girls

The Stop Motion Lullaby

A petal falls off the tree and flies into a little town.
It lands gently into the river near a very special building.
It's Mackinnon & Saunders.
Let's go inside...
Glow in the dark stars are hanging from the walls.
Down in the storage room, all the stop motion puppet characters are asleep.
Primrose and Wilfred...
The Rubbadubbers...
Bob's machines...
Postman Pat and his black and white cat...
All of this becomes a wall frieze on Ian Mackinnon's wall.
I enter Factory Create.
In the staffroom, I see every one of Factory's characters fast asleep on the sofas, including Luke, Resus and Cleo.
I am in tears remembering...
Luke, Resus, Cleo and I are running in a flowery meadow, excitedly hugging each other.
I cover a warm duvet over my friends and kiss them one by one, then fall asleep with them and all their friends.

Zoonicorn HORROR!

WARNING: this post is not recommended for younger fans of Zoonicorns. Reader discretion is advised.

Odessa and Pancake are playing hide and seek when Pancake becomes afraid his Zoonicorn dolls are out to get him. Odessa hisses that the Zoonicorns will kill any bad children in their dreams, and Pancake scoffs it's just an old otter's tale. However, when he goes to sleep, he ends up in the Zooniverse, where he ends up having a picnic with Promi, Ene, Valeo and Aliel. However, some hummingbirds come by and start stinging him. The Zoonicorns reassure him it's only just pretend, while looking at each other with smirks on their faces. Pancake runs away and tries blue paint and water to reverse this, but the hummingbirds just peck at him and cause large blemishes to appear on his skin, including large lumps. He begins experiencing terrible itching, and the Zoonicorns try to cure it by cutting his blemishes off with carving knives, to which Pancake starts screaming in pain. The Zoonicorns then develop red eyes and all of them turn their stripes red. They glue the now bleeding Pancake to the ground and declare that once they kill ANYONE who has been in their territory, they will use the souls of any child to possess their lord and master. Promi raises up a large knife and...!

The next morning, Odessa visits Pancake's house to see if he wants to play, but the moment she steps into his bedroom, he sees blood all over the bed. He removes the sheets to reveal Pancake dead, bloodied and scarred, with his stomach and chest cut open and entrails spewing out. Odessa screams and reacts to the point of fainting, and Ene's horn glows blood red.

Norman Picklestripes - Mission Impossumble/Fur-Get About It Song Sequence Review

Mission Impossumble:
This is the story that featured the song that introduced loyal Factory fans and non-Factory fans alike to Plywood Forest, Norm and his gopher sidekicks. The sequence has it all: bear onesies, synchronised swimming, Betsy the skunk gassing a rooster to death, Norm putting an umbrella over a resident's house to save any plumberworks and stop it raining inside, and rounds of raisins and nuts flying all around our favourite handyman. Also, be sure to look out for any hidden goodies along the way throughout the rest of the episode, such as that dumb bat trying to cross the road with her shopping, but almost getting run over by Norm's caddyshack. Hasn't she known of the Green Cross Code?

Fur-Get About It:
In the second segment, all the residents of Plywood Forest start shedding their fur during the hot season, and Norm bursts into a song-and-dance about why animals shed fur. The song starts with bunches of fur chasing two mole tourists, then it revolves into a full furry frenzy: balls of shed fur rolling along the stage, tiny little fuzzballs with legs (Mini Kiss Cool, anyone?) and Norm and Blanche sitting atop the sun. I hope they don't get burnt! As the gophers push the furballs away, Norm is seen comforting a crying Blanche and telling her that shedding fur is nothing to be worried about. Such a comforting Broadway star! This is also the first time we see, on the TV screens, the 2D flash animated 'Super Rabbit', during the end, when the gang are having a movie night.

Zecora's Kingdom - Part 1

I wonder what Zecora was doing when she was absent during Part 1 of Twilight's Kingdom? Well, you're about to find out...
While hanging out with my mentor Zecora, I happen to find a mysterious key in her basement, which turns out to be a wooden carving of Princess Twilight Sparkle. I ask her what the wooden carving symbolises, to which she states:

"The wooden carving is the key
To lead to my immortality
I can withstand fire that burns
For someday, Tirek will return."

She then shows me a wooden box which she can place the wooden carving into so she can unleash her ultimate form. Zecora and I then drink a potion and travel back in time to the events of the classic My Little Pony adventure 'Rescue From Midnight Castle', where we witness Tirek transform helpless ponies into dark, evil creatures to pull his chariot. Scorpan and Spike were his servants! Oh no! However, in this reality, Scorpan killed Spike and spared his blood to one earth pony to save her friends, but luckily, he was resurrected with magic cream. Zecora tells me the magic cream is precious, and shouldn't be stolen at all cost.

Zecora places a CCTV camera into the cave where the Tree Of Harmony is, and sets up TV screens to watch the Mane 6 place their keys into the magical chest where their mystical power's supposed to be unveiled. As she watches, she decides to place her wooden carving into her magical box, and soon, a burst of rainbow light comes out, surrounding Zecora and turning her into a magical 'Rainbow Power' version of herself, with rainbow coloured stripes and a red, blue and yellow mane. I am so delighted by this, as she has also gotten herself a horn and some wings, so she's an alicorn zebra!

We fly out into the night to see to Tirek once and for all, but upon seeing him fight with Discord, he turns and drains all the magic out of Zecora, returning her to her original form. He then stomps onto Zecora, injuring her, and I run calling for help! All of the Mane 6 except Twilight gather round Zecora as she lies bandaged and bleeding in the hospital bed. The doctor tells me that in order to get Zecora better, she must find three ingredients from three pony communities - a snappet of a crystal building from the Crystal Empire, a rainbow from Cloudsdale and some apple cider from Appleloosa. Applejack scoffs at the fact that crystals, rainbows and cider aren't going to get Zecora better, but the doctor reveals himself to be a guard at Canterlot and orders me to go find what I'm meant to look for for the sake of Zecora, Equestria and most importantly the planet.
