Gromit The Sorcerer

There was nothing Gromit liked better than to sit down with a cup of tea and a good book. He also liked to listen to the music of Bach, a famous dog composer, as he sat and read. Sometimes, he would get so sleepy listening to the music that he would just drift away into some musical fantasies of his own.

Gromit found himself soaring into Space slowly and elegantly, feeling his body rise into the air and onto a podium made out of hard, cold stone. He pointed his doggy fingers at each star, which glowed like a million tiny buttons waiting to be pressed. He threw his arms both sides and found out he could make stars shoot this way and that, and when he raised his arms into the air, thunder crashed and flashed like a thousand little flashing lightbulbs. Suddenly, he looked and saw water all around him. He got excited, so he threw his arms up and sent the water crashing against the rock. He threw his left arm up into the air, and saw a huge watery Phoenix rising above him. The sun parted through the stars, shining through the Phoenix’s watery body. It gave a screech before it morphed back into water and began flooding all around Gromit. The stars began to fall from the sky, and an underwater world began to form before the young lad.

Gromit swam through the peaceful water, looking around at all the pretty things like shells and fish. If Wallace were here, he would be a scuba diver, but sadly, Gromit was on his own. It wasn’t long before he found a large oyster, which opened up to reveal a beautiful little pearl inside. Gromit looked at the pearl as it shone brightly in his face like a golden star. Just as Gromit was about to touch it, he felt himself being dragged out of the water and up into the sky. He shot past fluffy clouds and blue serenity until he had reached the moon, where Wallace and him first had their picnic a long time ago. He looked into a moon crater to see if there are any cheesy treasures for Wallace inside, when suddenly he heard screaming, shouting and bleating coming from nearby.

Gromit looked up and couldn’t believe his eyes. There near a huge crater was a slew of other Aardman characters - Shaun The Sheep, Timmy, Morph, Chas and Bitzer - all tied up and struggling to get free. Then Gromit heard a voice who said:

Groooooommiiiiitttt….

Gromit spun round and saw, to his absolute surprise, a giant green dragon with Wallace’s head! “Groooomiiiiittt!” roared the dragon, breathing out cheesy fondue. Gromit spun round a few times like Krypto the Superdog when transforming into his super form, and turned into a knight. There were bleats and cheers from the tied up friends as Gromit thrust his trusty sword at the huge dragon, who breathed his cheesy fondue breath at the poor lad. Just then, the young lad had an idea. He jumped up into the air, his eyes glowing white, and zapped rainbow lasers at the dragon, who proceeded to fire back with the hugest amount of fondue you’ve ever seen in your life.

Gromit was frozen, stuck in a statue of cheese for the rest of his life…

“Gromit!”

Wallace’s words woke Gromit, who jumped up in fright, dropping his book. Through body language, he tried to tell his master about his dream, and how he was a fierce dragon searching for a fight. He then showed Wallace a picture of Shaun, Bitzer, Timmy, Morph and Chas, and tried to explain that he was a knight trying to free them. “Silly pooch,” laughed Wallace, “You and your dreams about space orchestras and oyster pearls and knights on the moon. I say, have you been eating some of my cheese again?”

Gromit was so shocked, that he literally turned green, and fainted right on the spot. He would never try eating Wallace’s favourite food again!

And remember, today I almost subverted to original stories, but don't worry, Mum said I don't have to look out for copyright...yet.

Blue Peter's My Little Pony The Movie Competition

Wouldn't it be great if Blue Peter did a My Little Pony: The Movie contest to celebrate the film's release in 2017? In the contest, you can design your own My Little Pony character for a chance to win these awesome prizes: a tour behind the scenes of the movie to see their character being made, merchandise or a chance to voice a character on Friendship Is Magic. Sadly, Friendship Is Magic has stopped producing new episodes, but still, it sounds like a great idea to me.

Share The Fantasy

My support worker and I had a wonderful time playing Don't Panic today. I ate sausage rolls, cheese and crackers and drank lovely purple Vimto. I enjoyed watching my support worker play with her cat Putzell, who in turn bit her hand and loved to be annoyed. My favourite parts of the Don't Panic game we played today were the Women's Perfumes bit (because I guessed Shalimar), the TV police dramas bit (because one of the dramas I guessed was McDonald & Dodds, which starred Cleo's voice actress Tala Gouveia) and naming all the dwarves in Snow White's story. Oh boy, was this fun or what?
BLUEY: "You bet it is!"
As we left for home, we saw Putzell in a hunting position. We had to be careful, or she wouldn't get flattened like a pancake in the middle of the road. I have a lot to talk about. And I just did!

Advice For Sailing In Cake

If you want to row boats on cake just like Norm in today's Norman Picklestripes, here's some funny advice to live by and do so:
  • Avoid rocky shores or else your cake will crumble to bits.
  • Bring a milk keg just in case we hit any dry cake spots.
  • Be careful - you might get frosting in your hair!
  • Never let seagulls come eating your cat in case it's their birthday.
  • If you encounter an accident, eat your way to safety.

What's Up With Charlie?

Remember, nobody's perfect, and that's OK. Here's what happened to some blue dude named Charlie, who hid in his own dustbin until he was reminded by his phone that he wasn't perfect.
