The Great Bunny Meltdown

I kept my teacher on her toes today with all that whimpering and wailing about what I want to do at Brora today, but eventually I gave in to doing Me, You, And Transformers Cybertron In Spirit Land, and the stories of Furaha and Jetfire and Upendi and Scattershot. My support worker and I did a bunny hunt round the garden while my teacher had another look at my blog, which ended with a big surprise - a paint your own bunny kit and two little rabbits which I named Winona and Wendy. I named one rabbit Winona, after the whale in Rubbadubbers, and one Wendy, after Bob's co-worker in Bob The Builder. Don't worry, I managed to sort it all out in the end. And so I got what I deserved, and so you got your's! How did you get what you deserved?

Mermaids!

Today I was a mermaid! Let me tell you all about my great undersea adventure.
My support worker and I went to the Puffin Pool. It was surprisingly quiet, and full of people with problems and issues. Most have stiff and brittle bones, one man has a rash, and another uses a wheelchair and had to lie in the water. I found it so relaxing and used floaties, just like Kipper and Arnold when they went swimming. No frog shower or elephant slide, though. Not even a water spout. But I proved myself to be a mermaid with a round rubber ring. Getting changed at the end of the trip was real easy!
As you know, pool water can make you really hungry, so my support worker and I stopped off at Tesco's to buy some sausage rolls, cookies and Coke. Having these sausage rolls was a new experience for me, and all the while I couldn't stop looking at ad board far off. It advertised butter and included the Duracell bunny. My support worker was having a hot dog, or as Bluey and her dad would call it, "German Sausage!" Speaking of Bluey, there's only six days to go until new Bluey arrives in Australia. Just when will it be arriving in the UK? I dunno. Only Disney can tell us, not CBeebies. I put lots of African songs on my playlist too, ones from Henri Dikongue, Samite and Anoma, who have all appeared in Putumayo albums. Aaaaaand from Tom Gates I just saw men with punky hairstyles and dancing scissors. And while I was having this perfect day, I thought up two new ideas, which came into my brain while my emotions were floating around with their little rubber rings and water wings. Here they are:
Sybil The Mermaid
A Sybil & Friends story. Sybil, Luke, Resus and Cleo go swimming in the local pool, and are excited when Bluey and Bingo turn up with their friends Mackenzie, Chloe and Honey. Sybil is desperate to be a mermaid, so her friends teach her to swim like one. They finish their day by enjoying a lovely picnic supper from the local supermarket.
Me, You, And Transformers Cybertron In Spirit Land
This is a spin off from Me, You, And Transformers Cybertron, split up into 6 stories, each told from a different perspective of both cub and Autobot. Furaha, her siblings and their Autobot friends find a cave which leads into a magical land where animals roam free and nature is more beautiful and eye-opening than ever. Now, with different paths to take, each duo (or trio if you count Haraka, Leobreaker and Snarl) must use each of their journeys to find a new path in life and question life and the universe around them. I'm hoping to put in an appearance by MLP G3 favourites Zipzee, Tiddlywink and Tra-La-La when it's Furaha and Jetfire's turn to tell the story.

Guess What I'm Doing Tomorrow?

That's right, I'm going swimming! Shame I can't bring any Sun Zapper though...

Me, You, And Transformers Cybertron: A Day At The Beach

Hi! Scattershot here, and I would like to tell you the story of how Furaha and Jetfire, along with my good Mini Con friend Jolt, spent a nice day at a beach in Australia. Salmon Hole Beach, to be precise. It was the sunniest day that I can remember. I was at the Autobot base playing with Upendi at the time, but what Jetfire told me was Furaha was cartwheeling onto the sand like some blue Australian dog who wore zinc whiskers - you know the one. The one with the crazy dad. Furaha is just like her, and Jetfire is just like the blue dog’s dad. When he’s around her, of course.

Jetfire, Furaha and Jolt were wearing zinc suncream - Furaha was wearing blue and green zinc suncream on her nose and fluffy cheeks, because even she needs to be protected from the sun. She looked like someone out of colourful Australian culture! Jetfire was wearing yellow and blue zinc suncream all over his giant body, with patterns to look like he’s a tribal warrior. Jolt, because he wears a clear helmet over his head, has to wear blue and green zinc suncream all over his arms and legs. Furaha was so excited - she had never been to an Australian beach before, and this was her first time. She breathed in the salty scent and sighed with droopy little eyes.

“My first beach experience.” she said, “I think it’s the best thing I’ve ever experienced.” “We haven’t finished yet,” laughed Jolt, “What kind of game shall we play first?” “Allow me to play this game on my own,” said Furaha in a low voice, “Because I’m wearing zinc suncream to look like I’m a wildcat, I’ll roar at Jetfire over there.” Furaha pointed. Jetfire was sitting on the sand, watching over the ocean. “Okay, but make sure he doesn’t go all wild animal on you,” whimpered Jolt as Furaha prowled towards Jetfire with a determined look on her face and all crouched down low. When Furaha approached Jetfire, he turned his head towards his little friend as she reared up and roared loudly! “AAAAAAAA!! Fierce coloured lioness cub!” he cried, and both of them began to chase each other around the beach, laughing away. “I told you!” called Jolt, “I told you he would go all wild animal on you!” But his words were blocked out by Furaha’s screams of joy and Jetfire’s loud laughter, until he grabbed hold of his little friend and hugged her, causing them both to fall over backwards.

The two lay there, out of breath, laughing. When they had finally managed to catch their breath, Jetfire asked, “What shall we do next, nipper?” “We should go for a swim!” smiled Furaha, “I love going for a swim in open water. Swimming surrounded by walls just makes me feel bland and boring.” “Me too,” said Jetfire, “When I swim on Cybertron, all we ever swim in is black oil.” I feel your pain too, Jetfire, swimming in oil is too disgusting for an Autobot, but with Upendi around, I embrace nature and swim in clear, less-pollutive water. Anyway, Furaha and Jetfire ran into the ocean and dived into the deepest shores. They spent the next few minutes swimming peacefully in the cool water, splashing each other and laughing so hard Furaha almost got water up her little pink heart shaped nose, and she had to stop for a minute before they could continue. When they did, they lay in the water and looked up at the sky, which was blue and full of white, fluffy clouds. Thank Lord Mufasa there weren’t any Decepticons around. Jetfire helped Furaha swim in the ocean and perfect her doggy paddle, even though she wasn’t a puppy, and they even played hide and seek in the cool water.

After a little while, Furaha felt her tummy rumble. “I’m hungry,” she said, “I could really go for some raw meat right now.” “Nah, they don’t have any meat here,” laughed Jetfire, “They have fish though.” “You mean…raw fish? That’s okay, I’m good at eating stuff raw, but if the fish has small orange slimy eggs, then I’m out of here.” “It’s not breeding season!” Jetfire chuckled, “And also, I forgot to remind you: Aborigines in Australia used fishing to make a living for themselves, so maybe if you taught me the ropes, I would be like an Aboriginal Autobot.” “Yes!” laughed Furaha, so they both kept still and waited for fish to swim by. As they kept still, Furaha tried very hard to keep in position, but her legs ached and her arms twitched as she waited to get her catch. Suddenly, a fish swam by, and Furaha tried to catch it, but she fell into the water. She emerged with water in her nose and ears, and started coughing and spluttering. It was as if her fish she’d eaten had been swallowed the wrong way down.

Jetfire picked up the coughing and spluttering Furaha and cradled her in his arms. “There, there…don’t cry…you’ll feel better soon. Tell you what, why don’t I catch the fish for you, using my giant hands?” “Sure,” spluttered Furaha, “I needed a break. My arms are aching and my ears are leaking out water.” So Jetfire waited, and when he saw the shadow of a fish swim by, he caught it and gave it to Furaha. “Good job, pal,” smiled Furaha, and she took a bite out of the fish. It tasted really good. Then Jetfire called to Jolt, who was standing on the beach, “Hey, Jolt, want to check out my fishing skills?” He approached shallow water towards Jolt, who was sitting on the sand watching everything that went on. “Sure, but I heard something about slimy orange fish eggs from your little friends.” he said. “Jolt, I think I saw a bear squeeze out these eggs once, and it almost put me off fish for good and always.” said Furaha. “But now you do know it was just a miracle of nature, right?” asked Jolt. “A good old fashioned miracle that is so gross it would not be suitable for nature at all.” Jetfire and Jolt began to laugh. “It’s just how life works for bears,” said Jetfire, “I think you’re used to nature at the moment.”

Minutes later, Furaha and Jolt were playing at running from the waves whenever they washed up on the beach when all of a sudden, Furaha noticed Jetfire walking away from them. Furaha knew what she had to do, but it was the first time she had to do this without Jolt by her side. It was as if the next few seconds were in total slow motion. “Jetfire!” she cried, and she ran like a wild stallion across the sand. “Don’t leave me, please!” Jetfire, who was standing in the distance, turned and saw Furaha run across the sand towards him. “Furaha!” he cried, and both of them were racing towards each other and embracing in a nice, soft hug. Furaha’s fur was soft against Jetfire’s smooth Autobot skin. “Promise we’ll be together forever?” she asked. “I promise,” smiled Jetfire under his faceplate and visor, and the two cuddled like there was no tomorrow.

As the sun began to set, Furaha and Jetfire lay on the sand and fell fast asleep side by side. The power of friendship has made it through such a happy day like this, and as long as Jetfire swore to protect Furaha, the two would stay together forever. As for Jolt, he stood before the waves as they splashed against his legs, watching the sun go down. “Where do I go from here?” he asked sarcastically.

A Day At The Beach Teaser

We interrupt Part 1 of Me, You, And Transformers Cybertron....
...in order to let our friends Furaha and Jetfire have a little more freedom!

Me, You, And Transformers: Cybertron: A Day At The Beach.
A story to celebrate my first time in a swimming pool in years!

Gromit The Sorcerer

There was nothing Gromit liked better than to sit down with a cup of tea and a good book. He also liked to listen to the music of Bach, a famous dog composer, as he sat and read. Sometimes, he would get so sleepy listening to the music that he would just drift away into some musical fantasies of his own.

Gromit found himself soaring into Space slowly and elegantly, feeling his body rise into the air and onto a podium made out of hard, cold stone. He pointed his doggy fingers at each star, which glowed like a million tiny buttons waiting to be pressed. He threw his arms both sides and found out he could make stars shoot this way and that, and when he raised his arms into the air, thunder crashed and flashed like a thousand little flashing lightbulbs. Suddenly, he looked and saw water all around him. He got excited, so he threw his arms up and sent the water crashing against the rock. He threw his left arm up into the air, and saw a huge watery Phoenix rising above him. The sun parted through the stars, shining through the Phoenix’s watery body. It gave a screech before it morphed back into water and began flooding all around Gromit. The stars began to fall from the sky, and an underwater world began to form before the young lad.

Gromit swam through the peaceful water, looking around at all the pretty things like shells and fish. If Wallace were here, he would be a scuba diver, but sadly, Gromit was on his own. It wasn’t long before he found a large oyster, which opened up to reveal a beautiful little pearl inside. Gromit looked at the pearl as it shone brightly in his face like a golden star. Just as Gromit was about to touch it, he felt himself being dragged out of the water and up into the sky. He shot past fluffy clouds and blue serenity until he had reached the moon, where Wallace and him first had their picnic a long time ago. He looked into a moon crater to see if there are any cheesy treasures for Wallace inside, when suddenly he heard screaming, shouting and bleating coming from nearby.

Gromit looked up and couldn’t believe his eyes. There near a huge crater was a slew of other Aardman characters - Shaun The Sheep, Timmy, Morph, Chas and Bitzer - all tied up and struggling to get free. Then Gromit heard a voice who said:

Groooooommiiiiitttt….

Gromit spun round and saw, to his absolute surprise, a giant green dragon with Wallace’s head! “Groooomiiiiittt!” roared the dragon, breathing out cheesy fondue. Gromit spun round a few times like Krypto the Superdog when transforming into his super form, and turned into a knight. There were bleats and cheers from the tied up friends as Gromit thrust his trusty sword at the huge dragon, who breathed his cheesy fondue breath at the poor lad. Just then, the young lad had an idea. He jumped up into the air, his eyes glowing white, and zapped rainbow lasers at the dragon, who proceeded to fire back with the hugest amount of fondue you’ve ever seen in your life.

Gromit was frozen, stuck in a statue of cheese for the rest of his life…

“Gromit!”

Wallace’s words woke Gromit, who jumped up in fright, dropping his book. Through body language, he tried to tell his master about his dream, and how he was a fierce dragon searching for a fight. He then showed Wallace a picture of Shaun, Bitzer, Timmy, Morph and Chas, and tried to explain that he was a knight trying to free them. “Silly pooch,” laughed Wallace, “You and your dreams about space orchestras and oyster pearls and knights on the moon. I say, have you been eating some of my cheese again?”

Gromit was so shocked, that he literally turned green, and fainted right on the spot. He would never try eating Wallace’s favourite food again!

And remember, today I almost subverted to original stories, but don't worry, Mum said I don't have to look out for copyright...yet.

Blue Peter's My Little Pony The Movie Competition

Wouldn't it be great if Blue Peter did a My Little Pony: The Movie contest to celebrate the film's release in 2017? In the contest, you can design your own My Little Pony character for a chance to win these awesome prizes: a tour behind the scenes of the movie to see their character being made, merchandise or a chance to voice a character on Friendship Is Magic. Sadly, Friendship Is Magic has stopped producing new episodes, but still, it sounds like a great idea to me.

Share The Fantasy

My support worker and I had a wonderful time playing Don't Panic today. I ate sausage rolls, cheese and crackers and drank lovely purple Vimto. I enjoyed watching my support worker play with her cat Putzell, who in turn bit her hand and loved to be annoyed. My favourite parts of the Don't Panic game we played today were the Women's Perfumes bit (because I guessed Shalimar), the TV police dramas bit (because one of the dramas I guessed was McDonald & Dodds, which starred Cleo's voice actress Tala Gouveia) and naming all the dwarves in Snow White's story. Oh boy, was this fun or what?
BLUEY: "You bet it is!"
As we left for home, we saw Putzell in a hunting position. We had to be careful, or she wouldn't get flattened like a pancake in the middle of the road. I have a lot to talk about. And I just did!
