Dragonwatch

Luke, Resus, Cleo and I are watching Dragon Tales on TV, describing how wonderful and colourful those dragons are, and maybe even harmless too, wheras in other TV series dragons breathe fire to destroy buildings. We are unaware that Cassie, the pink dragon from the show, is watching our conversation through the window outside.

Don't Panic

This is the board game I played with my support worker today. Not only did I find out that her cat Putzell hates the cold weather, but I also found out that she was an orphan, born to a dead father and an abusive mother. My poor support worker. Sometimes she has to learn to live in the present and not live in the past.

Princess Hair!

You'll never guess what! I've just had my hair done!

First, my support worker and I went to the chemist's to get some fun hair equipment, including a headband with a Jojo Siwa-like bow, some hair clips with pretty flowers, a yellow comb, a rainbow brush with a mirror on the back and some pink L'Oreal Kids shampoo. Then I was ready to go! At the hair salon, I enjoyed having my head massage while some shampoo and conditioner was applied to it, then I was sat at the chair while the stylist brushed, combed, dried and cut my hair and I told her about everything at my new Princess Pamper Place. The L'Oreal poster, the kids' gown with puppy pawprints on it, and the magazines she often lets my friend read. They're a bit too grownup and scandalicious, but trust me, I think she'll get some kids' magazines soon. I even had creamy L'Oreal mousse applied to my hair, and I looked rather like a boy! I made the stylist laugh by telling her all about my age and Barbie and My Little Pony and almost everything, and I thought up inspiration for a new My Little Pony character called Coco Cucumber, a green pony with a coconut for a Cutie Mark! After my treatment, I felt so much like a princess, and the stylist even let me have a sweetie from her sweet jar she saves for people who have been good. This is the best hair salon ever!

I'm going back there next month, on the 28th. What do you think of that?

Home Movies From Scream Street

Luke, Resus and Cleo love to watch home movies of when they were preschoolers together, according to my good friend Brunia. They saw videos of them playing with their toys. Cleo is just prancing about in a carefree way in her princess dress, while Luke and Resus are playing with toy cars. One time they went on a camping trip and told scary stories, but had nothing to fear because they were here for one another. I love how Brunia depicts them as friends who'll never part, no matter how much fun they have. It's just how I want them to be.

Share Bear & Friends

The Care Bears have some human friends who would like to tell you about their experience in watching one of their full length adventures, Share Bear Shines. I remember the 'I Believe' song and everything Share Bear mentions like pizza, rolling down hills, chocolate cakes and the beach...I bet these kids got to share in the magic of Share Bear's beliefs too!

Turning Red + Finding Nemo

What if Turning Red combined with Finding Nemo? Well, here's how it would happen, according to my good friend, Brunia:

Ming and Mei-Mei form a close bond. Ming, knowing the dangers of the world, tries to keep Mei-Mei protected from it at all costs, even when she transforms into a red panda. When she is taken by animal traffickers, Ming gets help from a fish named Dory, who helps her find her. From there, she learns to loosen the leash and help Mei-Mei spread her wings.

Much better than the actual film, eh?!

Eat Mor Chikin With Bob The Builder

Brunia has an interesting thing to share with you! As you know, Bob The Builder received a Chic-Fil-A promotion in the US, which meant he had to have a terrible dub-over using American accents. We don't want Bob to get Americanised! Anyway, according to Brunia, Bob's promotion at the restaurant that tells us to 'Eat Mor Chikin' would've consisted of a chicken nugget meal, which also features a waffle fry, some mac-and-cheese and some applesauce. A free toy of Bob, Wendy, Scoop or one of the machines would be given out, as well as a kid-sized construction hat with the Bob The Builder logo on it. There would also be a sticker and activity book featuring favourite characters from the show.

Did you know that these books up above in this picture were released with the Chic-Fil-A promotion? No way have I ever thought of that before! Finally, there would be a Mud Puddle Pudding which consists of a regular chocolate pudding with gummy worms and Oreo cookie crumbly bits.

Space - Mackenzie's Walkabout

Mackenzie wanders the Australian outback by himself, looking for a purpose in life. He walks through the dry, dusty desert with a water bottle strapped over his back. Suddenly, his legs begin to tire. He starts to run, obeying what Bingo did when she went for a riverside walk, but suddenly, he falls to his knees and collapses.

When Mackenzie wakes up, he is delighted to find some Aboriginal images in the sky. Mackenzie gets up, and is ready to run again, but this time he begins floating through the spiritual sky, and bursts through a wall of water. Next, we see Mackenzie sitting on top of a rock overlooking the outback at sunset.

Telling Tiny & Small About New Episodes Of Bluey

In Tiny and Small's Clanger house...

ME: Tiny, Small, I wanted to tell you some exciting news.

TINY: Ooh! What is it?

SMALL: Is it a new series from Factory?

ME: No, before that. It just so happens to be new episodes of Bluey airing on April 9th. I got some photos I took early this morning.

(I show Tiny and Small the photos from the previous post. Tiny and Small are shocked)

MAJOR CLANGER: Now then, what's all this talk about Bluey?

ME: You won't believe this, Major! Bluey's coming back!

MAJOR: Well, I never. Hey, guys, come on in!

(Mother Clanger and Granny Clanger rush in)

GRANNY: My, that is splendid news.

TINY: Sybil told us!

MOTHER: Did she indeed? Well, I believe that's exciting news for everyone. You should tell it to more of our friends.

ME: Yep, it's my duty!

TINY/SMALL: Hooray!

Bum Worms Tickle Fight

RESUS: (tickling me) You've been taking more photos of Bingo and Bluey, haven't you? Eh? Eh?! Tell me or I'll tickle your guts out.

LUKE: Er...Resus, I think that's slang for biting.

RESUS: It's not slang, it's just tickle talk.

LUKE: Whatever.

ME: Okay, okay, I'll show you! These are some photos I took early this morning.

(I show Resus photos of Bandit, Bluey and Bingo getting into their car. Resus gasps)

RESUS: Are those hints for new episodes?

ME: Yep. They were showing yet another sneak peek. If they show a full promo, you'll thank me.

RESUS: Yeah right. But I'm still gonna TICKLE YOU!

(Resus continues tickling me. Luke sighs and goes back to reading his comic)

Nothing's Cosier

My family and I are at Kookawood Farm,

In the Blue Mountains where snow doesn't harm

There's a cosy side of Australian life

Like taking a snowy Winter hike

Cosiness is snowball fights

And frolicking around in snow so white

We build snowmen and snow angels too

No one enjoys it like me and you

The outdoor hot tub fits only two

But don't worry, I'll fit into it you

We'll splash and play while the snow around

Melts like a ton of popsicles on the ground

The fire pit outside makes it like camp

'Cause being in the snow causes a neck cramp

We roast marshmallows and talk about things

Like how Luella almost got her wings

Inside is so cosy, just us together

A family inside, outside the snowy weather

I'm ever so happy snuggled up near my mum,

With hot chocolate melting in my little tum

Our beds are just as cosy and warm

When we sleep, we're safe from harm

We have a special bond that won't break

We have lots of memories to make

Kookawood House is the best place

To warm up and put a smile on your face
