Now it's time to do some activities themed around what's coming up next week! Remember, try these activities at home. Try these at a friend's house. Try these if you're excited for Scream Street and Simon! First, for weekend boredom busting, try these activities based around the Scooby Doo and Tom & Jerry movies airing.
- Make a variety of dragon crafts for Tom & Jerry & The Lost Dragon.
- Make magical moon dough for Scooby Doo: Moon Monster Madness, even though I prefer Scooby Doo: Frankencreepy to this.
- Engage in beach-themed sensory play for Scooby Doo & The Beach Beastie.
Next comes my all time favourite Scream Street, with loads of ideas for things themed around next week's episodes, and the show's return too!
- Make a DIY spellbook inspired by 'Scream Clean'.
- Learn how to draw a haunted house for Luke, Resus and Cleo to explore, for 'Haunted House'.
- Capture Luella's vanity and innocence with a flower petal potion, or go Eefa's route with real witch's brew, just in time for 'Lovestruck'.
- Take an online music class for 'Wolfgang', or make your own 'Which Do You Prefer' cards themed around anything from Scream Street to CBBC to Simon, because I prefer the original Wolfgang to The Return Of Wolfgang. Play this exciting online card game themed around what you prefer if you like!
- Engage in some fun songwriting activities for 'Resus Rocks'.
Now it's time to celebrate the release of Tiny Pop's new show, and my favourite personally, Simon, with these fun activities themed around these simple, short episodes starring Simon and his little brother Gaspard.
- For 'Stars For Mummy', you could make this star slime.
- I always think of pirates when I think about 'I'm Not Afraid Of The Storm', so a good example would be those fun pirate crafts.
- Set up a pretend pet grooming salon for 'Bath Time, Elvis'.
- Engage in some farm-themed sensory play for 'Let's Go To The Farm'.
- Make a fizzing hidden ocean world with the beach theme of 'You Did It On Purpose, Gaspard'.
- Make an ocean themed sensory bin because the Simon episode 'What A Swimming Lesson' is based around water.
- Try these skateboarding activities for 'I Saw It First'.
- Host a sports day or a beach day at home with 'The Sack Race'.
- Try some running races at home for 'The Fastest T-Shirt In The World'.
- Sing along to this song about sharing sweets for 'A Trip In The Breakdown Truck', because I usually like to think of it as an excuse to think about sharing sweets you spend with your pocket money.
- Try this Old MacDonald's Farm Sensory Bin for 'I Want To Ride On The Tractor'.
- Play with shadows for 'Lullaby For Simon', then do some star painting.
- Do magical crafts themed around butterflies and unicorns for 'Lou's Birthday'.
- Have fun with these exciting party crafts for 'The Super Duper Big Surprise'.
- Try out this handprint hedgehog for 'Prickly The Hedgehog'.
- Go on a sand and sea animals treasure hunt for 'That's Our Treasure Chest'.
- I was looking for monster science experiments for 'There's No Such Thing As Monsters' and I found this experiment for 'elephant toothpaste'....why not?
- Try these Winter sensory play activities for 'Milou In The Snow'.
- For 'The Mega Water Slide', try these water sensory play activities.
- Make this treasure map to go on your very own adventure for 'The School Trip'.
I'll bring you more activities each week and day throughout 2021, so stay tuned!
