And as I've found out, Mr. Marrow can pull lots of different things out of his moustache. This inspired me to think up a game for you to play with your child, named 'What's Inside Mr. Marrow's Moustache?'. This is sort of like a School Of Roars version of the 'What's In The Bag' section of another CBeebies show, The Baby Club. All you need is a bag, a printout of a moustache and some safe, child-appropriate kitchen items, be it food or plastic cutlery. It will encourage your child to learn about textures and what they can feel just by feeling around in your bag. Ask your child "What's in Mr. Marrow's moustache, (name of child)?" and describe what they can feel inside the bag. After a few guesses, reveal the object they've touched first inside the bag, or moustache. Find more sensory play ideas similar to this game here:
